What is the penalty for an employer or business owner/operator who ignores or takes no action to seek compliance to the new bylaw?
A person who contravenes any provision of the Bylaw may be prosecuted and face a penalty upon conviction of not less than $250 and not more than $10,000, or, in default of payment, to a period of imprisonment of not more than six months. The minimum specified penalty for each separate offence is $250.
