What is the Pb-free solder composition qualified by Ecliptek?

Ecliptek has qualified the following Pb-free composition: Sn95.5Ag3.9Cu0.6 This composition is recommended by the North American Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (NEMI). Additionally, Ecliptek has qualified another Pb-free composition: Sn96.5Ag3.0Cu0.5 This composition is recommended by IPC’s Solder Product Value Council (SPVC). At this time, Ecliptek has no specific plans to qualify additional solder types. Ecliptek will continue to monitor the activities of the various organizations (i.e. INEMI, IPC, etc.) and review alternate Pb-free solder types. Please contact your Ecliptek sales representative if you have a special requirement for a specific solder composition type.
