What is the payback or service obligation?
Students who opt to accept the stipend are obligated to work in an educational setting that serves children between the ages of 0 and 21 who are IEP eligible.This must be a paid position.Students must work two months for every one month that a stipend is received.Students who are paid for work in an educational setting that serves IEP-eligible children between the ages of 0 and 21 are fulfilling their service obligation and do not have to literally pay back the stipend amount in dollars and cents.
