What is the patient population like?
We serve a diverse array of patients who come from all areas of Eastern North Carolina. We care for a racially diverse population with a significant number of university/hospital employees and their families. We also have a significant Spanish-speaking population and have full-time interpreters available 24 hrs/day. We are also privileged to serve a large indigent population. There is a wide variety of disease processes and pathology from which to learn.
