What is the path of the Kahuna Pili?
The Kahuna Pili is the path of the personal priesthood. Sometimes it is called the Path of the Peaceful Warrior. It is a path taken by people who see the value of applying the Principles learned in Ho’ala Huna into the lives of themselves and their families in a formal and structured way. This path consists of formal ordinations that take place at the attainment of puberty, one’s selection of a career or life-path, marriage, childbirth, attainment of grandparent status, and other times when it is appropriate to recognize that a new dimension of priesthood responsibility has been accepted. These ordinations are seen as the heart of the ‘ohana or family.
