What is the Passport Program?
This is a special rewards program for history adventurers young and old. We give you a free “passport,” and you visit each of 22 historic sites in Akron between June 30 and September 16. When you show us your completed passport durning the Lock 3 Reading Festival, we ll give you a free history poster and enter you into a drawing for great prizes. Not every site is open this weekend. But you can get your passport stamped at the Lock 3 History Exhibit by answering questions listed in our FAQ section. When you ready to experience “Life in the Past Lane,” as you take your journey on Akron s History Trails, here s what to do: First, you need to pick up 3 items on your first visit to any one of our participating sites: • The brochure, Historic Akron – Inventive.
