What is the part number for the carburetor, coil, piston, crankshaft, etc., for my engine?
This information is contained in your engine’s Illustrated Parts List (IPL .pdf). Engine parts list lookup typically requires the complete model number and the first 4 numbers of the type (-01, -E1, etc. is not necessary). Engines built before 1965 may use the model number and first 4 numbers of the serial number. In order to view the correct Illustrated Parts List and determine the part numbers for your specific engine, you will need your engine’s complete Model, Type, and Code numbers. The numbers listed next to the part illustrations in our IPLs are called Reference Numbers. These numbers are one to four digits in length depending on the part. The Reference Number is used to locate the specific Service Part Number (usually six digits) you will require for ordering purposes.
