What is the parents role?
The first and primary teacher of every child is their parent(s). We have taken all of the “busy work” out of homeschooling by providing a complete solution from which parents can pick and choose. All of our courses meet various state requirements; we provide paperwork and support for homeschool applications, and our system tracks attendance and automatically grades many quizzes and tests. Teacher help is available every school day via the Message Board, to help in areas that may be difficult. This invaluable communication tool gives parents instant access to the teacher(s) of their choice. Learning By Grace allows parents to have the time to really enjoy teaching and learning with their children and, more importantly, learning about their children. MorningStar and Grace Academy students enjoy our unique one-to-one Live Operator System, giving them instant access to the teacher of their choice.
Because The SouthernBaptist Academy is an online private school, it provides comprehensive lessons, teacher instruction, grading, and record keeping. Because students are learning at home, The SouthernBaptist Academy depends on parents to ensure their student is attending class each day and will meet all attendance requirements required by private school law. We also encourage parents to foster extra-curricular activities for their students.
