What is the Parental Controls IM Safety List for children?
IM Safety List is designed to provide a safe online experience for your child. IM Safety List enables you, as a parent, to manage your child’s activities on AOL Instant Messenger. As the owner of an adult Username, you can use the IM Safety List to block instant messages sent to your child from people you don’t know. Only those people who are on the IM Safety List, which is created and maintained by you, will be able to IM your child. IM Safety List only restricts IMs on the AIM or AOL service. If you have the AOL Parental Controls software downloaded onto your computer, you can provide your child access to specific instant messaging programs. To set up the IM Safety List 1.
