What is the Parent Ambassador Program?
The Global Education Office (GEO), in conjunction with the Office of Parents & Family Programs, works with parents of students who have studied abroad as part of the Parent Ambassador Program. Parents of prospective study abroad students have many questions about the programs, safety and security issues and how to help their student have a rewarding global experience. Experienced parents are a great resource to answer these questions and the Parent Ambassador Program was established to connect these two groups. GEO also welcomes the feedback and input of our Parent Ambassadors regarding our Parent Handbook and how we can best provide information on costs, deadlines, visas and programmatic content prior to their students’ departure.
