What is the PAR rating of this light, “photo synthetically active radiation”?
Wow…thanks to some of my customers for this one. For those of you that want to understand what PAR rating mean, please go to this forum for a good discussion on PAR and whether or not the numbers really mean anything in growing plants or marine live stock. I have spoken to our OEM who manufacturers our base units for the PAR rating or our lights and they claim this is a non issue and more of a marketing gimmick then any actual concern on their lights. I am not quite sure myself and have read many articles with differing opinions. So on this one you are on your own guys. for those of you that really believe what some grow and aquarium light manufacturers claim, I can tell you that all the research you will do still comes back to the same thing…will our lights grow your plants or coral and the answer over and over again from over 400 happy customers over the past 5 months is a resounding yes. Check my feedback and feel free to contact any customers that have purchased these lights. I
