What is the outlook for Gas Supply?
The management of Alton Natural Gas Storage project is encouraged by the potential development of the Deep Panuke project, the commercialization of the McCully field, the potential that compressed natural gas from the Hibernia and White Rose projects offshore Newfoundland may land in Nova Scotia, and the development of two LNG projects in Nova Scotia and one in New Brunswick. Finally, since the Maritimes and Northeast Gas Pipeline can be reversed, gas could be brought to the Alton facility from U.S. sources in the future. We are confident that supply will not be an issue going forward.
