What is the outbound email policy for Road Runner?
Road Runner and Bright House Networks are determined to try to protect you from spam, email viruses, and other unwanted email. Therefore, Road Runner has set a limit on the number of outgoing emails that you can send per day from the Road Runner outbound email servers. You can send email to 1,000 recipients per day per IP on the outbound email servers. Once you reach the limit, your email is refused by the email servers for the next 24 hours. To notify you, you receive an error message: ERROR:5.7.1:550 Outbound Mail Refused – YOUR_IP_ADDRESS See http://help.rr.com/outboundemail – DATE_OF_BLOCK Email can have up to 99 recipients total in the To and CC fields. The average user sends email to fewer than 50 recipients per day, so most customers have no reason to be concerned about this limit.
