This is a program offered by Amcal with a grant from the CLSC Lac St. Louis for young parents (of children up to the age of five) who have not completed High School or CEGEP, or parents over the age of 20 who are recent immigrants to Canada. The group meets three times per week, for fun outings and activities, and features guest speakers from related community, health and social service agencies, as well as discussions about issues relating to parenting, relationships and life planning.
