The Oregon Educators Benefit Board administers the newly created statewide insurance pool for employees and eligible retirees of Oregon school districts and education service districts. The Board was created when the 2007 Legislature passed Senate Bill 426. The OEBB will provide oversight and management of the insurance pool, design the benefit plans and contract with insurance carriers to deliver benefits to school district employees beginning October 1, 2008.
