The Oracle Discoverer command line interface is a set of text based commands that enable you to create and manipulate Discoverer EULs created on both Oracle databases and non-Oracle databases. Note: You use Heterogeneous Services to connect to non-Oracle databases, although the EUL is stored in the Oracle database. For more information about using non-Oracle databases, see “Discoverer support for non-Oracle databases and Oracle Rdb”. The Discoverer command line interface runs only on a Windows platform. The Discoverer command line interface enables you to perform tasks without running the Discoverer Administrator or Discoverer Desktop graphical user interface (GUI).
