What is the optimal time for a 3D/4D ultrasound?
Before 24 weeks gestation, babies appear more skeletal with 3D/4D imaging, but you can see more of the baby at once. Between 28-36 weeks gestation, babies are developing a fat layer that fills in their facial details allowing for better facial images.
