What is the optimal size, format and resolution for uploading images?
Size: The optimal size for viewers using 17″ monitors is about 400 pixels in width. Format: jpg, jpeg and gifs are accepted. Sometimes a file has a .jpg or other acceptable extention but is mislabeled and is not truely in an acceptable format. In such cases the image may not upload properly. Resolution: A resolution returned with a 50k file size is more than adequate. Files of more than 250k in file size do not upload automatically. These resoultions are significantly lower than a printed work, but look just as good as higher resolution images on a monitor and load faster.
