What is the opposite of differentiated case management?
The polar opposite form of differentiated case management is to treat all cases alike. No screening is involved other than jurisdictional checking, regardless of degree of complexity. Cases are handled on a first-in, first-out basis under the same basic policies, procedures, and practices. As a result, there will be considerable uniformity in the time taken to resolve cases. For example, burglary cases will take almost as long to resolve as homicide cases.
