What is the Ontario Property Assessment Corporation (OPAC)?
OPAC is the corporation which is responsible for property assessment in Ontario. It works through field offices located across the province. Its main responsibility is to establish an assessed value for each of the over four million properties in Ontario. Municipalities use these values in calculating property taxes.
