What is the only NATURAL food that does not spoil?
Honey darkens with age and becomes a bit stronger in flavor. But it will not spoil. Honey will keep indefinitely if stored in a sealed container. It is best stored at room temperature. Refrigeration promotes granulation, but it doesn’t spoil it. My grandmother had jars of honey that she had stored when she was first married – and we used them after she died at age 92. After warming it a little, they were perfect.
