What is the On-The-Job Training Program?
Eligible employers may be able to receive some reimbursement for a portion of an eligible trainee’s wages during an on-the-job training. The purpose of the On-the-Job Training Program is to assist employers in training and retaining skilled, productive workers. The OJT Application provides the Seneca One Stop detailed information, about the employer and their business, that will provide justification for eligibility and participation in the On-the-Job Training Program. If an employer is eligible to participate, a formal request must be made, training outlines need to be approved, and a contract must be signed. New applications for On-the-Job Training are reviewed on a regular basis.
