What is the Old Sacramento Living History Program?
The Old Sacramento Living History Program is a volunteer organization whose goal is to educate, while entertaining, the public on the streets of Old Sacramento, California. This program will insure that Sacramento’s heritage will be kept alive through the historical recreation of the individuals, events and activities of Sacramento’s rich history during the time period of 1848 to 1870 with a heavy emphasis on the Gold Rush Era and the years 1848 to 1858.
