What is the Off-line edition and why might I want it?
The Off-line edition is developed using the same techniques as the contents of the CD-ROM but instead of being issued on a CD it’s made available to download from the web site. Like the CD one can run it soley from your PC without being connected to the Internet – although you’ll need an Internet connection to download it. Although you may already have the CD-ROM edition, if you have an Internet connection, you may wish to check whether the Off-line edition is more up-to-date than your CD-ROM edition. We update the Off-line edition more frequently than the CD-ROM edition. If you have a friend or colleague who does not have the CD-ROM edition but does have an Internet connection they can download the Off-line edition from the Traceability website home page – http://www.agmed.org.uk.
