The Off-Campus Access Service (proxy) is a way for you to utilize Brown University Library electronic resources while not on campus. You can use the service at home, at your off-campus office, or on research leave via an Internet Service Provider (ISP). The Computing and Information Services Web-Authentication process helps to make this possible. To use the Off-Campus Access Service, you must have the following: • A valid Brown University NetID and password • An Internet Service Provider (ISP) • A supported web browser (Netscape 4.7x or Internet Explorer 5.x or higher). Please note that Netscape 6 is not currently supported.
