• The study’s objective is to develop a master plan that ensures reliable, environmentally friendly service for sponsors’ communities that supports national energy policy. • The study will produce a reliability analysis and recommendation for technically sound solutions for integration of extra-high voltage transmission into the existing transmission system. • The study also will provide an economic analysis of solutions identified in the technical analysis – indicating benefits of extra-high voltage transmission to regions.
