Our objective is to positively impact lives for Christ using the medium of sports and to provide a free camp that has the same excellence of an overnight FCA Camp. Utilizing high school and college athletes, the best Christian coaches in our area, along with local youth pastors who can lead our chapel times, this camp will be a unique experience for young people in our area. Simply put, there is no other camp of this kind in Eastern Iowa! • What is the history of the FCA Power Camp? Around the country, some FCA Power Camps attract up to 1000 kids per day. Here in Eastern Iowa, we started small in 2006, offering basketball and soccer only, with 65 students attending a one-day event at Cedar Valley Christian School. In 2007, we had 300 over two days. In 2008, our FCA Power Camp was cancelled because of the flooding in the Cedar Rapids area.
