What is the OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring Program?

0

OASIS tutors work as mentors with first through third grade students in local schools in six area school districts. Tutors work to enhance the children’s academic success and self-esteem by providing literacy and language acquisition fundamentals in the context of an award winning curriculum designed by OASIS Institute. Tutors are trained twice a year, and work in Eugene, Springfield, Harrisburg, Junction City and Pleasant Hill schools. Contact Pat Rankin atprankin@peacehealth.orgfor more information.
