What is the NYU Committee Letter of Recommendation?
Most health professional schools require you to obtain a committee letter if your undergraduate institution provides this service. We write committee letters for all College of Arts and Science undergraduates and alumni, and undergraduates and alumni from other divisions who have taken the prehealth prerequisites at the College of Arts and Science. Our confidential letter is a composite letter and draws on comments from members of the Committee on Recommendations that interviewed you, your answers to the questions in the committee interview packet, your outside letters of recommendation from faculty, research supervisors, and the faculty comment forms. The purpose of the committee letter is to provide a thorough evaluation of your background and candidacy.
