What is the NYU Committee Interview?
The Committee Interview is an interview conducted with a member of the Committee on Recommendations. All students applying to health professional school must participate in a Committee Interview. Committee interviews take place between February and April and serve as the basis for the Committee Letter of Recommendation. The committee interview is an opportunity for you to discuss your interests, career ambitions, and motivations for pursuing a career in the health professions. Once you have submitted your committee interview packet, you will be assigned a date and time for your interview.
