What is the NWSChat Bot and what will it do for me?
A.The NWSChat Bot or robot is a computer program that interacts with each NWS Weather Forecast Office’s chat room by routing brief summary messages containing links to complete NWS text products to each room on an as needed basis. The information routed to the chat rooms by the bot includes various types of warnings, watches, mesoscale convective discussions, public information statements, etc. The bot is always in each room and you don’t need to do anything special to enable its functionality.
