What is the number one reason people get taken by used-car salesmen?
That’s an easy one. The number one reason people get taken to the cleaners is the faulty assessment they make about their knowledge of the used car business. I could never figure out how people could come into my place of business and think they know more about selling cars than me. It made no sense! I have talked with many different people about this and they all said the same things … they learned the tricks of the trade from someone else, like a neighbor or brother-in-law.
