What is the NRCPR?

0

The National Registry of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (NRCPR) is a national database for the collection of information on in-hospital resuscitation interventions. The NRCPR is sponsored by the American Heart Association. The AHA drew from the expertise of practitioners to develop a data set that would support local efforts in practice management and quality improvement, and create a large-scale database capable of answering many important contemporary questions with respect to in-hospital resuscitation interventions. The Utstein guidelines were used as the starting point for the NRCPR data elements. The NRCPR is managed by Digital Innovation, Inc. (DI). For over 15 years, DI has managed national, statewide, and regional registries, providing valuable research answers in trauma, EMS, critical care and other specialties.
