What is the NoVi Trail Network?
The Northern Vienna Trail Network is a proposed system of walkways, or “trails”, which would better connect local public facilities including Wolf Trap National Park , the Barns of Wolf Trap, Meadowlark Botanical Garden , the W&OD Trail, eight Fairfax County parks, the Cross-County trail, Wolftrap Elementary School and the town of Vienna . Besides giving residents better access to local facilities, the trails would improve pedestrian and bike safety, encourage healthier lifestyles, lighten traffic, and help improve air quality.
