What is the November 14th event all about?
November 14, 2010, is our opening ceremony for the Torah project as well as the Sofer’s first visit and scribing session. The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with a short opening ceremony, followed by workshops, activities and a Torah scavenger hunt running throughout the day and for all ages. Workshop topics will include “Writing with a Quill,” “The Magic of Hebrew Letters,” “Torah Calligraphy” and much, much more. Sofer Rabbi Druin will be on site all day and available for letter fill-in appointments. Call now to schedule your appointment for that day. No dedication is necessary. Everyone is welcome!
