What is the North Academy? How are students selected for the Academy?
The North Academy is primarily designed to meet the individual needs of students who arent satisfied with their educational experience in the traditional classroom setting and who might be better served in a non-traditional environment. These students: Can maintain self-discipline, aside from their inability to adjust to the traditional high school environment. Would benefit from an independent and flexible curriculum. Demonstrate average to above average potential (prior success has been demonstrated). Express a personal desire to improve their overall success at Naperville North High School.
