cant be 64 if it were she would be rushed to the hospital and then put on steroids and when the level came up to around 70 they would do an emergency c-section that’s if she didn’t bleed out prior, not trying to be rude but your normal platelet count at the low end should be 150,000,000(refereed as 150) when you reach around 120,000,000(120) they worry and they don’t like it to go below 90,000,000 (90). I know this from experience as I spent my 1st pregnancies 3rd trimester in and out of the hospital for this, they try to find out why it is happening either the baby is eating them up or basically they don’t know and the information above is what I was told, mine luckily never dropped below 90,000,000 (90) but now I am prego again and only 3 months and my platelets already are 118,000,000(118). tell your sister to ask the doctor for her platelet count again and if they say the same thing then instruct your sister to go directly to the ER and find a new ob/gyn cause she shouldn’t be out
