What is the normal execution time?
The vast majority of electronic executions and trade confirmations will take less than a second. However, from time to time market conditions, exchange technology issues, or local connectivity problems may cause delays. Some non electronic spread orders and some illiquid or index options may take some additional time because they must be manually facilitated via open outcry.
