What is the nominal wind speed that the Globalia Hurricane Screens resist?
This is a simple and easy question, but the answer is difficult. All hurricane protection products are designed on the base of pressure and there is no direct correlation between wind speed and pressure because many variables are involved. However, given that our products are approved for use within the HVHZ, they have successfully demonstrated their capacity to withstand pressures equal to 76 psf or winds of up to 150 miles per hour.
