The development of the National Learning Management System (NLMS) is a joint initiative between the Department of Health, NHS Connecting for Health, Skills Academy for Health Core Learning Unit, e-Learning for Healthcare and the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Programme, which has introduced elearning capabilities into the Oracle Learning Management (OLM) and Self Service modules of ESR. The functionality is fully integrated with the ESR solution. It is available to all NHS employees with a staff record on ESR in England at no cost.
