What is the NIDA Genetic Data Access Request Committee?
A9. The NIDA Genetic Data Access Request Committee, selected by NIDA staff, is a panel composed of one bioethicist and four other individuals with expertise in one or more areas including human genetics, genetics of complex traits, statistical analysis, molecular genetics and drug addiction research. NIH Program and Review staff members are excluded from membership on the Committee.
