The NH Governor’s Award for Pollution Prevention recognizes businesses and organizations that have made an outstanding effort to prevent pollution. Award winners receive a NH granite trophy engraved with their name and year of award. Companies and organizations are encouraged to display their awards for clients, vendors and visitors to see their outstanding efforts in pollution prevention. Also included in the Governor’s Award is an Honorable Mention category. Honorable Mentions are award “runner-ups” that are still recognized for their achievements and accomplishments. The Honorable Mention Award recognizes those businesses and organizations that, with a little more concentrated effort or commitment, may achieve Award winner stature in the near future. Honorable Mentions receive a wooden plaque, engraved with their name and year of award.
