What is the Newspapers in Education program, and why should I donate my papers to it while on vacation?
By taking part in our Vacation Donation program, you are helping us put newspapers in Valley schools to be used as valuable learning tools. Donating is easy – when you stop your paper temporarily for a vacation, you can donate the papers you’ll be missing to the NIE program for use in Arizona classrooms. Donations may me made at any time of the year, whether or not school is in session (a donation made in the summer, when most schools are out of session, is considered a credit that will be used toward putting newspapers in the classroom at a later date). For more information, please call (602) 444-1000, or (800) 332-6733 if you live outside the Phoenix area. Also visit our NIE Web site.
