The Newborn Intensive Care Program (NICP) is a statewide system of specialized care and follow-up for infants who need to spend time in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU) because they are born to early (premature) or are sick. The program is funded by the State of Arizona to ensure that all sick newborns in Arizona have access to the care that they need. What services are included in the program?
