The Positive Behaviour Support policy will become effective from 1 March 2009 for departmental staff, foster and kinship carers and direct care staff. Transitional arrangements will apply for licensed care services to provide for lead in time to amend their policies in line with this policy by 1 July 2009. A Power Point Presentation on the Positive Behaviour Support Policy will be sent out to Zonal Directors, CSSC Managers and PSU Directors to be forwarded to all staff.
