The new LEED Green Associate Exam assesses your knowledge of green building and the LEED rating system process. You must complete it within 2.5 hours, and it is a computer-based, multiple choice exam. The cost of the exam is $150 for USGBC members and $200 for non-members. If you pass a current LEED exam you will not have to take the LEED Green Associate Exam. However, if you do not pass a current LEED exam, you will need to pass the LEED Green Associate Exam and a LEED AP+ specialty exam to become a LEED AP+.
