What is the new law on discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and when does it come into force?
From April 30th 2007, new laws ban discrimination against people on the grounds of their sexual orientation in the provision of goods, facilities, services and the sale or letting of premises. These new laws extend protections already in place in the field of employment since 2003. The unlawful acts are very similar to those in other areas of discrimination law.
