What is the new evidence in the 1976 murder trial of the 6 year old boy?

A 51-year-old Hoopa man suspected of kidnapping and murdering a 6-year-old boy in Happy Camp 32 years ago, was charged with murder. The two suspects were arrested after an anonymous tip was given to a Yreka police officer in October. The tip reportedly led investigators to pick up on the trail of evidence long after it had gone cold, Riggins said. The investigation into the kidnapping and murder of the child has continued over the years, but a break in the case came in September when the Yreka Police Department contacted the sheriff’s office with new information about the case, the sheriff’s spokeswoman said. The nature of that new information has not been disclosed.
