The Customer Select Charge is a charge that is accessed to every customer for Nicor. However, once you choose an alternate gas supplier like Ambit Energy, Nicor breaks that out into a separate charge that’s shown individually. It is normally part of the delivery charge so the delivery charge will actually go down by an equal amount of the Customer Select Charge.
