In essence the New Age Movement is an effort to assert the wisdom of the world over the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:21). It is an effort to form a new global order which exalts human understanding independent of God’s Plan for His Creation. At the individual level it is a desire to live one’s life and control one destiny without reference to the Word of God as revealed in the Christian Bible.
